Niwaki mini crean mate rust eraser & tool cleaner
This dinky version of our Niwaki Crean Mate cleaning block is ideal for manoeuvring into small gaps. Perfect for fitting between the blades of secateurs and snips and so compact you can keep it in your pocket and barely know it’s there.
Use it just like our larger block to remove resin, sap, grime and (most satisfyingly) rust to restore bladed tools to their former glory. Add a few drops of water to the tool blade then rub the Mini Crean Mate back and forth as you would a rubber eraser. Dry off the blade and wipe it over with a few drops of camellia oil ready for next use.
Please note: the block has a fairly abrasive texture and might scratch highly polished surfaces, so do give it a patch test before using on your best blades.
