This perennial is semi-evergreen so it can lose some of its leaves in winter. In colder regions or more exposed gardens, it may lose them all, but then fresh new growth appears again in spring.

  This highly-attractive marginal perennial with mid-green leaves and pom-poms of pink and blue flowers has a distinctive spearmint fragrance. Well suited to extremely wet conditions, hart’s pennyroyal is nectar rich so will generate plenty of interest for pollinating insects too!
