Featuring a graceful, spreading form, Acer palmatum dissectum 'Tamukeyama', boasts enchanting cascading leaves in a stunning purple-red and burgundy hue that persists throughout the growing season. Once autumn arrives, these lacy leaves adopt vibrant and fiery shades of red. This superb Japanese maple thrives in a sheltered position, preferably dappled shade and takes on a mound-forming structure, evolving into a beautiful deciduous large shrub or small tree.
Add a top dressing of a multi-purpose fertiliser around the base of the plant in late spring. No routine pruning is required.
