Orostachys 'Chinese Hat'

Hailing from Japan, this cute little succulent starts with small delicate grey to mauve rosettes that form whimsical, conical heads. In late summer and autumn, 5-10cm (2-4”) pale pink flower spikes rise above this botanical curiosity before dying back. Orostachys spreads via side shoots making it an ideal companion for a sunny, sheltered alpine trough or conservatory planter.
