The foliage of this colourful perennial are a mix of gold and brassy tones in summer, but as the temperatures drop, their colouring intensifies, taking on chocolate and olive green undertones. It's happiest in a lightly shaded spot, and it looks great when used to line a woodland path or border edge. Alternatively, pop it into a pot and enjoy it on the patio.
How to care for × Heucherella Brass Lanterns (PBR):
Water regularly, allowing the excess to drain away freely. Cut back damaged foliage in autumn and if clumps have become too congested, lift and divide clumps at the same time, replanting them immediately with their crown just above the surface of the soil. Apply a generous 5-7cm (2-3in) mulch of well-rotted organic matter around the crown of the plant in spring.

This perennial is semi-evergreen so it can lose some of its leaves in winter. In colder regions or more exposed gardens, it may lose them all, but then fresh new growth appears again in spring.
