Alstroemeria Valley Wild ('Tesvalwild') (Summer Paradise - Valley Series)

Peruvian lily

Product Image
‘Wild Valley’ is a clump-forming, deciduous perennial showcasing glossy variegated green foliage and clusters of large, exotic-looking bright red flowers with yellow flecks.

Blooming over many months, this compact plant is perfect for containers, and also makes an excellent choice for cut flowers due to its exceptional vase life. Easy to grow and long-flowering, it brings vibrant colour and a tropical touch to any sunny garden setting or sheltered patio pot.

How to care for Alstroemeria Valley Wild ('Tesvalwild') (Summer Paradise - Valley Series):

Newly planted Alstroemerias should be given a very generous 20cm (8in) deep mulch of chipped bark in their first winter to help the plants become established. In subsequent autumns, provide a dry mulch of bracken or bark chippings to help protect the crowns.

After flowering, cut back the faded flower-stems, but make sure you always wear gloves when working with Peruvian lilies, as contact with the foliage may cause skin irritation.
