Astilbe produces glossy, divided, dark-green foliage, and numerous branched, open sprays of pure white flowers giving a plume-like appearance in summer.

Ideal for waterside planting or consistently moist garden areas, Astilbe dislike drought and can become scorched in hot sun. Therefore, try to find a spot with reliably moist or boggy soil, where the will receive lightly dappled or indirect light.
