Primarily grown for its fine yellow foliage, which turns yellowish green as it matures, this upright evergreen shrub creates an interesting backdrop in the border - and it could also be used for informal hedging. Occasionally tiny white flowers, which have a honey-like perfume, may also form in clusters, which can grow up to 30cm long.
