Euonymus fortunei Blondy ('Interbolwi') (PBR)

evergreen bittersweet

Product Image
This undemanding and easy to grow semi-evergreen is ideal for adding colour contrast to border edges or pots. Forming a low, bushy mound, its yellow stems are laced with lustrous, deep green leaves, each with a prominent yellow blotch that tends to become more pronounced when grown in a sunnier spot. Offering year-round colour and interest, it makes a handsome ground-cover when planted en-masse, and creates an eye-catching disply when used to line the edges of a path.

How to care for Euonymus fortunei Blondy ('Interbolwi') (PBR):

Tip prune young plants in mid to late spring to encourage bushy growth and apply a generous 5-7cm (2-3in) mulch of well-rotted garden compost or manure around the base of the plant. Remove any plain green-leaved shoots as soon as they appear, cutting them back to their base. Protect from cold, drying winds in winter.
