A large pot with plants, ready to create a shallow water feature to provide a stunning and harmonious choice that will provide interest and colour from spring through autumn, with added wildlife benefits for insects and aquatic life. A single pot with plants is ideal for compact spaces, while several could be used to make a feature.
In each set you will receive a 55cm diameter patio pond/planter, and three marginal aquatic plants, planted up with aquatic compost into one litre pond pots. The choice of these plants may vary, depending upon seasonal availability, but may include options such as Acorus, Iris, Pontederia, and Nummularia.
In addition to the three marginal plants, our Easy Care option contains a one litre pot containing a water lily (colours may vary). Our Extended Colour option offers a deep water plant such as water hawthorn (Aponogeton distachyos), which has a longer flowering season.
A pre-cut section of mesh is included which allows the plants to sit on top at the perfect height in the pond.
Please note: In addition to the pot & mesh, you will receive 4 plants in total (3 marginal plants and one water lily—colours may vary—or deep water plant) and the plants received may be different to those in the photo. Our pond plant experts will send the best plants available at the time of purchase, based primarily on the season.

How to care for Pond in a pot - complete with plants:
Fill the planter with water so that the aquatic pot is submerged up to a depth of 5-10cm and maintain throughout the season, topping up when required. Place in a sunny or partially shaded spot and protect from hard frost to avoid the water freezing completely (the plants are fully hardy). Replace water if it becomes stagnant or excessively muddied.
