Ecofective organic compost booster powder
This compost-boosting superfood is packed with slow-release organic nutrients and bio-stimulants. A useful addition if you’re gardening with peat-free compost and want to give plants a bit of extra support. Mixed into compost, it helps improve structure and nutrient availability, promoting steady growth, stronger roots and improved resistance to stress.
It’s particularly helpful when potting on seedlings or planting into containers, where peat-free mixes can sometimes dry out or lose condition more quickly. Used regularly, it helps to keep plants balanced and growing well, especially in the early stages. Feeds up to 40 plants.
How to use:
Potting up seedlings: Mix in 4 tbsp (60ml) for every 3 litres of compost and water in lightly.
Potting into pots & containers: Mix in 4 tbsp (60ml) for every 3 litres of compost, add plant and water in lightly. After 4 weeks, mix another 1 tbsp (15ml) into the top layer and water in.
Transplanting: Add to planting hole - flowers 2 tbsp (30ml); shrubs 4-6 tbsp (60-90ml); trees 6-8 tbsp (90-120ml). Water in, then top up after 4 weeks with 1 tbsp (15ml).
Established pots: Add 1 tbsp (15ml) to the top layer of compost, mix in and water. Repeat after 4 weeks. For larger pots, increase by 1 tbsp (15ml) per litre.
