Expanding coco grow coir compost
Pack of 6 x 650g bricks of peat-free multipurpose compost made from coconut coir with essential trace elements and nutrients. Contains 20% nitrogen for healthy foliage, 5% phosphorus for strong flowering and 5% potassium for overall plant vigour.
In recent trials, Coco Boost produced tomato plants 33% bigger than the best-selling peat-free compost - and petunia plants with 3 x more flowers!
Suitable for indoor and outdoor plants, the loose open structure allows excellent aeration and drainage while retaining water to prevent plants drying out.
Ideal for sowing seeds and rooting cuttings, potting and growing on young plants and making composts for containers and baskets.
The mix releases nutrients slowly for sustained growth and last 3 times longer than peat, so can be reused when seedlings and cuttings are planted out.
Supplied as 6 compressed bricks in an easy to carry 100% biodegradable package. To use, place a brick in a large container, add 3-4 litres of warm water, leave it to absorb and expand then fluff it up to loosen. Each brick will make approximately 9 litres of compost.
