Plum slate 40mm
Our chunky 40mm plum slate chippings are an elegant stone for topping borders, rockeries, paths and pots. They’ll add polish to the garden, creating a neat but natural finish, suppressing weed growth and helping to retain moisture in the soil.
In dry conditions, the stones are a pale grey with subtle dusky pink and plum undertones. When they’re wet the purplish tones will appear richer and darker, making these a great addition to water features and ponds.
Please note: due to the quarrying process, bagged stones will always contain some dust. Rain will naturally wash it away in time, or you can use the garden hose to clean the stones once laid.
Store in a cool, dry place away from weed killers and other garden chemicals, and reseal bag after use. We recommend wearing gloves when handling.
