Spray waterers are a brilliant addition to a gardener’s toolkit. This one has a choice of five spray settings which you can easily select by rotating the head. You can also control the intensity using the single-finger flow adjustment.
The fine mist spray is perfect for tender seedlings or tropical plants (like orchids) in the greenhouse. The gentle soft spray or bubble jet are useful for targeted watering in pots and containers, and the hard jet or flat jet give you a bit of extra pressure for cleaning.
To turn the spray on and off, simply press or release the ergonomic trigger. Or if something needs a good soak, you can lock it in the ‘on’ position to reduce strain on your trigger finger.
An integrated filter stops coarse dirt from making its way into the head and clogging up the holes. It can be easily removed for cleaning.
The soft plastic components make the gun comfortable to hold and the metal connectors mean it’s very robust so should give you years of happy watering. Supplied with a 5-year warranty (registration required).
