Pressed glass wasp trap
We’re great believers in live and let live, but sorry wasps, it’s hard to enjoy our grub with your insistent buzz and menacing hover nearby. If you’d like to enjoy a summer of angst-free eating and drinking outside, this glass bottle wasp trap is a brilliant solution.
Pour in something sweet like lemonade or fizzy orange, pop in the cork and stand or hang it nice and far from where you’ll be (aim for 10 metres or so). Any nearby wasps will be drawn into the trap (they can get in at the bottom) and find it very difficult to escape. Once you’ve finished your feast, you can pop out the cork and let them fly off again.
