In spring and summer when plants are in their pomp, this lovely metal hurdle will stop them flopping over onto lawns and paths. After plants have died back, you can leave it in place for some structure and interest in the colder months.
Made from 8mm steel it’s sturdy enough to help deter pets from the border, and you might even like to use it for peas or dwarf beans in the veg patch. The steel is left uncoated and will quickly develop a layer of rust, giving it a charming aged finish.
