These spongy watering slices can be added to your pots, hanging baskets and containers to stop them drying out. Saving at least 65% of usual water usage, they’re ideal for holiday watering. When fully soaked they slowly release water for plants to take up as needed.
Made from an inert porous polymer, they are durable, reusable and suitable for both ornamental and edible crops. You might find roots grow into the slices and break them up a bit, but you can reuse the pieces. They should give you at least 2-3 seasons of use before disintegrating.
How to use:
Put dry slices into water and soak for 3 hours, or until fully wetted, before use. With hanging baskets, garden pots and containers, use them to line the base. For houseplants you can either place them under the pot, making sure the slices are in contact with the drainage holes, or put them into the base of the pot.
