Wonderfuel peat free seed, cuttings and houseplant compost
Wonderfuel Stage 1 compost is specially blended for seeds, cuttings and young houseplants, giving them a carefully balanced mix to root into.
The blend is entirely peat free, made from a sustainable mix of by-products and waste materials including coir, bark fines, wood fibre and green compost, enriched with trace elements, wetting agents and essential nutrients to support early growth.
Developed over eight years of testing and research, it has performed well against both peat-based and other peat-free composts, with good germination and strong rooting. The texture is fine enough for seed sowing but open enough to drain well, helping to avoid waterlogging.
Supplied in a 25 litre bag, a useful size for seed trays, a run of cuttings or repotting houseplants.
