This gentle collection blends soft lilac, creamy white and warm peachy-pink tones, offering a refined and romantic feel to spring displays. With a mix of classic and double forms, their subtle shifts in colour and texture bring depth and harmony to borders, containers or cut flower arrangements.

How to care for Award winning cottagecore tulip collection:

Using fresh, good-quality compost, plant bulbs in pots from September to November. For borders, we advise waiting until after the first frosts (typically mid-October to early December depending on your location) to reduce the risk of potential disease such as Tulip Fire.

Plant bulbs 15-20cm (6-8in) deep and 10-15cm (4-6in) apart in fertile, well-drained soil. Alternatively, allow 7-9 bulbs per 30cm sq or 60-75 bulbs per m². If you’re unable to plant your bulbs immediately, they can be stored in a cool environment with good air circulation. Remove all the packaging and place them in a loose-weave jute sack before labelling and hanging up in a dry, unheated garden shed or well-ventilated greenhouse.

In spring, when the plants are in active growth, apply a high-potash fertiliser (like Tomorite) each week until the leaves start to die back. Pinch off the spent flower heads as the petals fall, and let the stem and foliage die back naturally. The bulbs can then be lifted and discarded, or cleaned, dried and stored (as before) for replanting the following autumn.

What's included:

In this combination you will receive the following:

  • 7 × Tulipa 'Sanne': Initially the large flowers are a blend of warm pink and cream, but as they age the petals start to take on a warm peachy tone, creating an exquisite bloom that makes a big impact. It looks great when teamed with antique shades. Grows to 45cm.

  • 7 × Tulipa 'Mondial': Peony-like flowers, which are made up of lots of lightly feathered pure white petals, top the stems of this double early tulip. The flowers of 'Mondial' a light scent too, so plant them in a border near a seating area or path. Grows to 35cm.

  • 7 × Tulipa 'Candy Prince': Classically shaped soft lilac blooms, which are finely laced with a deeper hue, are offset perfectly by the silvery green foliage. Relatively short-stemmed, 'Candy Prince' is ideal for bedding displays in the border, but it is also deserving of a place in pots and containers. Grows to 35cm.
