This perennial dies back to below ground level each year in autumn, then fresh new growth appears again in spring.
- Position: full sun

- Flowering period: June to July

Forming part of the Pacific Hybrid Series, this tall-stemmed delphinium produces its larger than average silvery blue flowers in tight formation around the upright stem. Wonderful in the early summer border, it also has a good resistance to powdery mildew. - Garden care: Stake with bamboo canes in mid-spring. During the growing season apply a balanced liquid fertiliser every 2-3 weeks and wearing gloves cut back the faded flower stems to a flowering side-shoot. At the end of autumn cut back and compost the faded flower stems.
