Hyacinthus orientalis 'Purple Star'

hyacinth

Product Image
The outer edges at the base of each trumpet-shaped flower has a metallic blue hue, which makes the rich mauve blooms look as though they have been dipped in blueberry syrup. This is a showy hyacinth, that will liven up the bedding display, particularly when planted with silvers or softer lilacs, pinks and blues.

Garden care: Using gloves plant bulbs 10-15cm (4-6in) deep and 15cm (6in) apart in early or mid-autumn.
