Sinking marimo moss ball

Chladophlora

Product Image
An incredibly easy and interesting little 'plant', which looks like moss, but is actually a (friendly) algae that forms into velvety soft balls. These are often used in aquariums, but they look really great on their own when placed in a clear vase filled with water.

How to care for Sinking marimo moss ball:

As soon as your moss ball arives, pop it into a vase filled with tepid water. Tap water is fine, but ideally it should have been left to sit for 24 hours - otherwise you could use rain or filtered water instead. Originating from the margins of lakes, where the lapping waves gently roll them back and forth (helping to mould them into shape), they should be turned every so often to help keep them in shape. Replace the water every couple of weeks when it starts to look cloudy.
