Comfrey is a traditional, time-tested way to feed plants, and these pellets make it easy and convenient to use. Naturally high in potash, it's an excellent feed to support flowering, fruiting and overall plant health.
You can scatter the pellets directly onto the soil for a slow release of nutrients, or steep them in water to create a liquid feed - useful when plants need a bit more immediate support.
They're helpful in veg beds and flowering borders (especially for sweet peas), or added to compost to boost nutrient levels. Used regularly, they help improve soil condition as well as feeding plants, which shows in stronger growth and better flowering over time.
How to use:
As a liquid feed:
Mix 75g of pellets with 500ml of hot (not boiling) water in a sealed container. Mash into a pulp, seal and leave for 3 days. Dilute 500ml of the concentrate with 9.5 litres of water to make 10 litres of liquid feed. Adjust quantities as needed - e.g. 150g of pellets with 1 litre of water makes enough concentrate for 20 litres of feed.
Applying pellets directly:
Scatter pellets evenly over soil. One handful covers roughly one square metre. You should get around 30 handfuls per bag, so one bag covers around 30 square metres. Apply only where needed and do not exceed the recommended application rates.
Store in a cool, well-ventilated place between 15°C and 40°C. Keep container sealed and out of direct sunlight.
