Empathy RHS rootgrow gel for bare root plants
This 360g pack contains both Rootgrow™ granules and a sachet of gel powder, which can be mixed and diluted to make a dipping solution for easy treatment of bare root plants.
Containing natural plant-friendly mycorrhizal fungi, it can be used on flowering plants, trees, shrubs and edibles. Within 4 weeks treated plants will grow a highly efficient secondary root system which naturally increases their nutrient and water uptake.
One application will support a plant for its entire lifetime! Each 360g pack will treat up to 50 2-3ft roses.
How to use
1. Take a large bucket and fill with 4 litres of water.
2. Sprinkle the contents of the gel powder sachet into the water and stir well.
3. Leave for 5 minutes then add the dry Rootgrow™ granules and stir well (the granules should be suspended evenly throughout the thick liquid).
4. Dip your plants’ roots into the solution ensuring even coverage.
5. Lift the plants out, allowing the excess liquid to drain back into the bucket, and plant immediately.
Please note: Rootgrow™ doesn’t work on brassicas, rhododendrons, azaleas, heathers, cranberries or blueberries. Please use Rootgrow™ Ericoid for those plants (except brassicas).
