Terracotta ruffle vase
Our hand-thrown ruffle top vase is made for outdoor use. We like a pair stood like little sentries beside doors and entrances, or as focal points on garden steps. Spires like salvia, flowing plants like vincas or even small acers would work perfectly.
Made in Turkey from local clay, each pot is fired to 1080°C to make it as frost resistant as possible. For extra protection we recommend raising it on pot feet and moving it to a sheltered spot in the colder months. Over time the clay will age to an attractive patina as the salts slowly leach to the surface.
Please note: there are no drainage holes but the natural terracotta is porous enough to drain well. As a handmade pot the measurements are approximate.
