Astilbe 'Bressingham Beauty' (× arendsii)

false goatsbeard

Product Image
Delicate, feathery, vivid pink plumes appear in midsummer above serrated, bronze-tinted, mid-green leaves. This astilbe is one of the taller varieties. It's ideal for a moist bog garden or moist border, and the foliage contrasts particularly well with plants like Rodgersia, which have bolder, coarse-textured leaves.

How to care for Astilbe Bressingham Beauty (x arendsii):

Ideal for waterside planting or consistently moist garden areas, Astilbe dislike drought and can become scorched in hot sun. Therefore, try to find a spot with reliably moist or boggy soil, where the will receive lightly dappled or indirect light.

To maintain healthy growth, lift and divide large clumps every three to four years in late winter or early spring, discarding any old, woody rhizomes. This will encourage vigorous new growth and continued flowering.
