This recently introduced conifer is said to have a better resistance to diseases than many of the other forms, and this, combined with its soft, fern-like sprays of yellow-green leaves makes it a popular option. A slow-growing growing plant, it will eventually form a slender column, which looks luminous when the temperatures drop and its colour intensifies to rich gold. Weave is through the border, pot it up, or use it to create a beautiful screen.
