This relatively large and easy to grow fern makes an elegant addition to a partially shaded border, where it's gently splaying fronds will form an open, architectural cluster. Largely evergreen, the previous years fronds will deteriorate as the worst of the winter weather takes it's toll, but in most cases, it will still maintain some colour and structural interest throughout the year.
