A fantastic hydrangea, with bright green leaves shaped like giant oak leaves and large cones of white flowers in late summer. In autumn, the leaves turn dramatic shades of coral, pink and red, and the flowers fade to pale pink, then brown.

How to care for Hydrangea quercifolia Snow Queen ('Flemygea'):
Choose a location with well-drained soil and partial shade to full sun. Prepare the planting hole twice the width of the root ball and at the same depth. After planting, water thoroughly and apply a layer of organic mulch to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
For aftercare, water deeply and regularly during the first growing season to establish a strong root system. Feed in early spring with a balanced, slow-release fertiliser. Pruning should be minimal, as this hydrangea blooms on old wood.
If necessary, prune immediately after flowering to shape or control size, removing no more than one-third of the oldest stems at ground level. In late winter, trim off any dead or damaged wood.
