The mounds of attractively variegated foliage are topped with dense spikes of azure blue flowers in summer, so the contrast between the two is very striking. This wonderful evergreen will flourish in a sunny border, and will look great when used to line a pathway. It's a great option for patio pots too. - Garden care: Cut back the stalks after the flowers have faded. Carefully trim back in April, taking care not to cut into old wood.
