Lupinus 'Melody'

lupin

Product Image
Boasting dusky violet hues delicately kissed by a hint of pink, the diminutive 'Melody' stands at a modest 60cm, perfect for containers or as a front-row dazzler in your garden. Its many small blooming spires form sturdy stems, creating stunning vertical accents among companion pinks and creams. Adored by bees and butterflies, these lupins also make excellent cut flowers, maintaining their grace in a vase.

How to care for Lupinus Melody:

Stake with bamboo canes or other natural supports in spring before the flowers appear and deadhead the faded blooms to encourage a second flush of flowers. Protect young plants from slug and snail damage, and against hard frosts by covering the crown of the plant with organic mulch. If growing in pots, ensure plants are sufficiently irrigated during dry spells.
