Pink and purple are such a great combination in the garden - and these two plants make a truly stunning combination. Perfect for cottage gardens.
Planting tips:
Prepare the bed well by digging in lots of composted organic matter before you plant. For best results it is essential that the plants are kept well watered for the first year, particularly during warmer weather.

In this collection you will receive three of each of the following varieties. The Lythrum are supplied in 8cm nursery pots, and the Campanula in 9cm pots.
Lythrum salicaria 'Blush': This moisture loving perennial will quickly form naturalised clumps beside waterways, where its light pink flowers, which appear in profusion, will provide colour throughout the summer and into autumn. The birds and bees will be attracted by the nectar-rich flowers and the foliage takes on good autumn colour too. Grows to 1m.
Campanula lactiflora 'Pritchard's Variety': Tall, branching stems bearing clusters of violet-blue, open bell-shaped flowers appear from July to September among toothed, mid-green leaves. This tall bellflower is a cottage garden classic and is perfect towards the back of a mixed or herbaceous border. It's a happy companion for old roses, self-seeds freely, and the flower colour is retained best in partial shade. Grows to 75cm.
