Magnolia laevifolia 'Honey Velvet' offers scented splendour with rich, resplendent semi-evergreen foliage. This compact variety fits perfectly into large containers, patios, balconies, courtyards, or smaller planting spaces, thriving in open ground as well, providing it has some shelter. The dark green, glossy leaves create a striking impact in containers and borders, and from early spring, large creamy white flowers emerge from velvety brown buds, releasing a sweet perfume that fills the garden or home when cut for vases. Additionally, it serves as an excellent food source for early pollinators.
