The aromatic, evergreen foliage of this showy, low maintenance shrub, is virtually smothered with the white, daisy-like flowers that appear in late spring and early summer. Compact enough for the patio, its dazzling display of blooms also makes it a stand-out option for the mixed or shrub border.
How to care for Olearia phlogopappa Spring Bling (PBR):
Plant 'Spring Bling' in moderately fertile, moist well drained soil or compost, if growing in a pot/container we advise loam-based, peat free compost (John Innes No 3) and also lightly dust the rootball with mycorrhizal fungi when planting and water in well. Remove the spent flowerheads using garden shears after they have faded, trimming back any branches that spoil the symmetry of the plant. After pruning, apply a generous 5-7cm (2-3in) mulch of well-rotted garden compost or manure around the base of the plant.
