'Arabesque Appleblossom' forms a bushy clump of foliage, from which upright stems arise in midsummer, each with a succession of pink-flushed, creamy white flowers. These are attractive to bees and other pollinating insects and can also be cut for the vase. Compact and long flowering, they make valuable additions to the border, and will fit easily into both formal and informal settings.
How to care for Penstemon Arabesque Appleblossom:
Remove the faded blooms regularly to prolong flowering. Apply a dry mulch around the base of the plant to protect the roots from frost damage and cut back in spring when new shoots appear low down on the stem. Lift and divide congested clumps in spring.
