trailing petunia

Product Image
Meet Petunia 'Surfinia Blue Vein' - featuring oval-shaped, sticky and hairy mid-green leaves, and a profusion of stunning, velvety flowers. These gramophone-trumpet-shaped blossoms are pale lavender-white with dark purple veining and a strikingly dark purple centre.

This tender perennial, commonly used for seasonal bedding or as a patio container plant, is known for its bushy, vigorous growth and semi-trailing habit.

Please note that the hanging basket in the photograph is not supplied with the plants (which are sent out in a simple nursery alternative), but we have a wide and wonderful range on our website to choose from.

How to care for Petunia Surfinia Blue Vein ('Sunsolos') (PBR) (Surfinia Series):

Grow on under glass until all risk of frost has passed and they can then either be planted outside into a well-prepared bed, or used to fill decorative pots and hanging baskets for the patio.

Pinching out the growing tips will encourage them to become bushier, and feeding with a high-potash fertiliser at regular intervals throughout the summer will promote even more flowers to form.
