In this collection you will receive one of each of the following plants. They are all supplied in a 9cm nursery pot.
Helleborus × hybridus 'Pretty Ellen Pink': Clear pink petals surround a greenish-yellow centre, forming very pretty flowers, which appear in loose cymes from late winter. If left undisturbed in the border, the evergreen foliage will form dense, slowly expanding clumps that will carpet the ground. An excellent choice for partial shade. Grows to 35cm.
Vinca minor 'Bowles's Variety': Lovely, lavender-blue flowers over a long period from April to September and dark green leaves. The long, trailing stems of this prostrate, evergreen shrub are excellent for suppressing weeds in sun or partial shade. Allegedly the best blue-flowered variety and less invasive than Vinca major, it's particularly suitable for smaller gardens. Grows to 20cm.
Geranium 'Brookside': Large deep blue-purple flowers with distinctive white centres, appear from June to September among deeply divided mid-green leaves. This lovely cranesbill is a comparatively recent introduction, valued for its intense blue blooms and long flowering season. It's excellent for suppressing weeds at the front of a mixed or herbaceous border or as part of a blue colour-themed scheme. Grows to 60cm.
Epimedium grandiflorum 'Lilafee': Sprays of tiny lilac-purple spring flowers suspended on delicate, wiry stems above bronze-flushed, light-green leaves. This elegant foliage plant is perfect for a lightly shaded site, and its handsome leaves, which resemble lopsided hearts, look lovely at the front of a shady border. Grows to 25cm.
