The debutante container plant collection
A stunning bedding plant collection combining the elegant white blooms of Cosmos 'Sonata White', the striking white petals with purple centres of Osteospermum 'Akila White Purple Eye', and the delicate, cascading clusters of Verbena 'Enchantment White' for a fresh, harmonious display.
Supplied as either an easyplanter or as a bedding plant collection (a mix of rooted cuttings and jumbo seedlings).
Each pre-prepared easyplanter measures 30cm (12in) in diameter and 8cm (3in) high, and contains a colourful mixture of plants. The trays also contain a slow release fertiliser that will get the plants off to a flying start. Grow the potted up easyplanter on in a frost free environment and it should be ready to place outside 2-3 weeks later (weather/late frosts permitting).
Made from 100% recycled plastic, the trays can be widely recycled after your seasonal displays have finished. Alternatively, reuse them as bulb baskets - place a layer of compost in the bottom, add bulbs and plant - place a layer out in the garden. When the flowers fade, lift the basket and store the bulbs ready for another year.

How to care for The debutante container plant collection:
If purchasing as a bedding plant collection, pot up and grow on under glass until all risk of frost has passed and they can then either be planted outside into a well-prepared bed, or used to fill decorative pots and hanging baskets for the patio. Pinching out the growing tips will encourage them to become bushier, and feeding with a high-potash fertiliser at regular intervals throughout the summer will promote even more flowers to form.
If receiving an easyplanter, half-fill your decorative pot or basket with compost (you'll need one with a diameter of at least 30cm or 12in), place the tray on top, and fill in any gaps around the edges with a bit more compost before giving it all a good water. The roots of the plants can grow through the base of the plastic tray and into the compost below, so provided it is kept frost free and well watered, the plants will soon start to fill out.

5 x Cosmos 'Sonata White': Delightful and elegant pure white flowers with a golden central boss of stamens rise above delicate filigree-like foliage. Grows to 50cm. Supplied as jumbo seedlings.
5 x Osteospermum 'Akila White Purple Eye': A central blue eye surrounded by a magenta mascara shadow that bleeds into pure white ray petals. ‘Akila White Purple Eye’ is a stunning, compact bedding and container plant that will bloom with bright, large flowers through the summer. Grows to 45cm. Supplied as jumbo seedlings.
5 x Verbena 'Enchantment White': A delightful, early to flower verbena from the superb enchantment series, producing a profusion of tiny white blooms all summer long. These fabulous plants will gently tumble from hanging baskets and containers. Grows to 25cm. Supplied as rooted cuttings.
