A vibrant, ornamental sedge grass with bronze leaves and brilliant bright red margins. ‘Everflame’ burns brightly through the winter thanks to its evergreen, compact nature, making it versatile for containers, baskets, or as a warm-toned specimen plant for the front of borders or rockery. As a bonus, Uncinia will thrive in damp areas of the garden forming clumps that will gradually increase in size over the years.
How to care for Uncinia rubra Everflame ('Belinda's Find') (PBR):
Comb through the plant in winter to remove dead foliage. Feed with a general purpose fertiliser during the growing season and if necessary, lift and divide over-large clumps in early spring.
