A wondrous white for summer season wow, Verbena ‘Showboat White’ is a broad-leaf type tender perennial producing masses of pure white flowers. Excellent for pots and baskets, or even at the front of a border, the mounds of foliage are mildew tolerant and stay lush and healthy in most weather. Attractive to pollinators (and curious neighbours!).
How to care for Verbena Showboat White (Showboat Series):
Grow on under glass until all risk of frost has passed and they can then either be planted outside into a well-prepared bed, or used to fill decorative pots and hanging baskets for the patio.
Pinching out the growing tips will encourage them to become bushier, and feeding with a high-potash fertiliser at regular intervals throughout the summer will promote even more flowers to form.
