The pretty, lance-leaved foliage of this compact evergreen matures from green to burgundy during the colder months making for beautiful winter colour in pots and borders. Summer interest arrives with its plump spikes of lilac-blue flowers and tolerance to dry conditions once established. The long flowering season is a hive of interest for pollinating insects contributing to ‘Pascal’ being awarded the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Garden Merit.

How to care for Veronica Pascal:

Hebes need free-draining soil, so before planting, dig in lots of organic matter to improve the soil condition and drainage. Water newly planted hebes regularly for the first season, especially in warm, dry weather. Once planted, Hebe ‘Pascal’ requires minimal pruning, but remove misplaced or frost-damaged branches in late spring. Protect from severe winter weather with a double layer of horticultural fleece.
