Greystoke square tapered planter

Product Image
Finished with an elegant aged patina, these tapered square planters bring the stately style of traditional stone without being heavy and unwieldy. Available in three sizes, the chunky pots are made from glass fibre reinforced concrete, a sturdy material similar to fibrestone and fibreclay.

Created in a single layer, rather than the three used in other production methods, the material won't delaminate or separate over time. Greater tensile and impact strength virtually eliminates the risk of ‘spider web’ cracks. It has also been internally tested to withstand a wide range of worldwide weather conditions, so a British winter holds no fear!

The aged finish is achieved through chemical reactions in the concrete, rather than paint applied to the surface. As a result, the colour isn’t just skin-deep but present throughout the material, making it impervious to sun and rain - and unique to every pot. A sealant is applied in the same way, permeating the material to protect it against frost.

Each pot is pre-drilled with a 3cm drainage hole ready for outdoor use. Supplied with a 1-year guarantee.

Key features:

  • Strong and durable
  • Hand-applied finish - unique to each pot
  • Weather-resistant for year-round outdoor use
