Stunning deep green margins and mint green centres adorn the leaves of this beautiful tropical houseplant adapted to low light conditions. ‘Silver Bay’ is a slow-growing and highly attractive variety of ‘Chinese evergreen’ well-suited to the novice or busy indoor gardener because of its undemanding and tough nature. Sturdy and reliable, this Aglaonema has air-purifying qualities making it a great plant for the office or home.
We’re proud to support our British growers, and having been raised by one of trusted UK nurseries, this indoor plant has a low carbon footprint, which makes it perfect for an eco-friendly collection or gift.
Please note that the pot in the photograph is not supplied with the plant (which is sent out in a simple nursery alternative), but we have a wide and wonderful range on our website to choose from.

How to care for Aglaonema Silver Bay:
Aglaonema grows best in bright, indirect light but will cope well in lower light areas too. Let the top inch of soil dry out before watering, preferably with rainwater, and always use a pot with good drainage to avoid waterlogging (ensure the pot is not sitting in water within a decorative cover).
Feed monthly with a balanced liquid fertiliser during spring and summer. Wipe the leaves occasionally to remove dust and keep them looking their best. This plant prefers warm conditions, so keep it above 16°C (61°F) and away from cold draughts.
In winter, reduce watering and allow the plant to rest. Increase humidity by misting the leaves regularly, especially in heated homes. Repot every few years in spring using a free-draining compost.
