A compact but stellar rex-type begonia houseplant with attractive non-spiral medium-sized leaves that have a blushed red and burgundy colouring with a hint of leaf margin green. Preferring indirect light, ‘Star Bright’ will liven up a bright room with its periodic pink flowers during the second half of the year.

How to care for Begonia Star Bright:
Rex begonias require special care during the summer months. It's best to keep them in shaded areas and provide ample watering, ensuring proper drainage and maintaining a humid atmosphere around the plants. Avoid wetting the leaves or the crown.
As winter approaches, reduce the frequency of watering. Allow the compost surface to dry out before watering again. These begonias thrive with a minimum winter temperature of 13°C (55°F) across all varieties.
For optimal growth, feed them every two weeks from May to September using a high nitrogen fertiliser.
