An ideal, pole-supported climbing plant for the corner of a bright room, ‘Silver Queen’ has heart-shaped leaves that become larger and more elongated as the plant matures. The chalky, mint-coloured leaves of this easy to grow philodendron have an almost metallic sheen, reaching ever upwards to become an impressive, but manageable houseplant. The plant is best supported by, and will cling to, a mossy pole as it matures.
Please note that the pot in the photograph is not supplied with the plant (which is sent out in a simple nursery alternative), but we have a wide and wonderful range on our website to choose from.
How to care for Philodendron Silver Queen:
Water freely when in growth, but keep drier in winter. Mist the leaves regularly with water to increase humidity and every so often put it under a cold shower to wash off the leaves. Make sure the winter temperatures stay above 10°C, and repot every couple of years.
