Rhaphidophora tetrasperma

mini monstera (syn. Philodendron minima) / (syn. P. 'PIicclo')

Product Image
Sharing the same family as both the Monstera and the Philodendron, this amazing, scrambling aroid originates from Malaysia and Southern Thailand, and like its close cousins, it also has the same fenestrations (deep cuts, lobes and holes) on its leaves. Rhaphidophora is great at small-scale climbing, and it will thrive when given a moss pole to cling to. They're easy to grow houseplants that will create a ‘Jungalow-style’ look in a large living room, or brightly lit corner.

Please note that the pot in the photograph is not supplied with the plant (which is sent out in a simple nursery pot). They do however make excellent potted plants, and if you wish to pot yours up, we do have a wide range of pots on our website to choose from.

How to care for Rhaphidophora tetrasperma:

Water freely when in growth, but keep drier in winter. Mist the leaves regularly with water to increase humidity and every so often put it under a cold shower to wash off the leaves. Make sure the winter temperatures stay above 10°C, and repot every couple of years.
