Elegant fern-like leaves appear in spring shortly before bunches of tiny white flowers. Clumps of small, round berries cover the tree in late summer to autumn, which are quickly devoured by birds. Then in autumn the foliage turns a vibrant red before falling. This conical-shaped tree can tolerate harsh conditions and is perfect for a small, urban garden.
