Geum 'Blazing Sunset'
avens (syn. Double Blazing Sunset)
A true herbaceous border favourite, geums also make a dazzling and unusual addition to cut flower arrangements too. Fully double, scarlet flowers, like miniature Tudor roses, rise above clumps of mounding green foliage on thin, wiry stems. 'Blazing Sunset' is easy to grow and perfect for sunny or partially shaded borders. For best results, grow in a cooler part of the garden, in well-drained soil.
How to care for Geum Blazing Sunset:
Plant ‘Blazing Sunset’ incorporating a scoop of well-rotted compost into the planting hole. Lift and divide large clumps every two to three years to maintain vigour and flowering in early spring or late autumn.
