Soft ruffles of frilly peachy-pink and yellow petals surrounding a mass of bee magnet stamens describe the semi-double flowers of ‘Petticoats Peach’. A pretty, sterile form, whose blooms face outwards, rather than downwards, and appear over several months. A lovely specimen for a patio pot or front of the border for a cottage garden-themed area, like many geums, the leaves are deer, rabbit, and slug resistant.
How to care for Geum Pretticoats Peach ('Tngeupp') (Pretticoats Series) (PBR):
Keep well watered and remove tatty foliage in autumn. Lift and divide clumps every couple of years in early autumn and replant with the crown just above the surface of the soil. Apply a generous 5-7cm (2-3in) mulch of well-rotted organic matter around the crown of the plant in spring.
