Dense, ascending branches with aromatic, steel-blue leaves form a narrow, pencil-shaped plant that is valuable for adding structure and punctuating a planting scheme. Planted in groups of three, it's particularly useful for introducing a feeling of formality into the landscape.
How to care for Juniperus scopulorum Blue Arrow:
Apply a generous layer of mulch around the base of the plant (avoiding the immediate crown) in late winter. Pruning is not usually necessary, however any shoots that ruin the symmetry of the plant can be removed in autumn.
